19 Reasons To Be Thankful...

Last year, I made this really long list of all the things that I was most thankful for during that holiday season.
This year, I would like to do it again with a few major minor changes.
So here it goes.

1. First of all, I am most thankful for the Lord God, and for all the blessings that I have received during the course of my life.

2. I thankful for my parents, and for sacrificing so much to give me everything that I often take for granted.

3. I am thankful for my siblings Mariel, Jason & Kriselle for being the best siblings any kuya can ask for.

4. I am thankful for my Second Family, and for being the first people I turn to whenever I feel down or upset.

5. I am thankful for my friends, for always believing in me despite all the ups and downs of life and never giving up on me especially during the most difficult times.

6. I am thankful for the food that I eat.

       7. I am thankful for the clothes on my back.

      8. I am thankful for the roof over my head.

9. I am thankful for my education, because I know how difficult is to have an education in this world.

10. I am thankful for the talents that I have, and my ability to share my music with the people I love.

11. I am thankful for my health, and for being healthy despite the many people who constantly suffer from diseases and illnesses each and everyday.

12. I am thankful for my enemies/haters, because they  motivate and inspire me to be the best person I can be.

13. I am thankful for my Filipino heritage and the values and morals that come along with it.

14. I am thankful for my Lakers and for keeping the love of basketball in my heart.

15. I am thankful for mistakes, because they remind me that I'm not perfect and that's okay.

16. I am thankful for being able to have a job especially during these tough economic times.

17. I am thankful for Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, Tumblr, and Blogspot for enabling me to keep in touch with the people that I love so much.

18. I am thankful for being alive and for having the opportunity to experience and learn new things.

19. Last but not least, I am especially thankful for having you in my life, because you reminded me how beautiful life is when I first met you...

Wishing...

“Some say it is a sin to love, I never did ask why, But, if I sin in loving you, I’ll sin until I die.” - Unknown

Someday,
Somehow,
Some way,
I'll wait for you.
I don't know how & I don't know when.
But something tells me that you are worth every second...

Reaching...

Girl, you are like summer rain
soft and warm and delicate
and I am a foolish boy
tryin' to catch every drop of you on my tongue..
but there's just too many
and I can't get enough...

You're inches from my fingertips
I've come as close as I can get
I'm reaching but the rest is up to you.
cause I don't ever wanna miss
being here with you like this
I'm trying but it's all that i can do.
I'm reaching but the rest is up to you.
the rest is up to you...

Just Sometimes...

Sometimes the loudest voice is heard from the smallest person.

Sometimes the people that we often take for granted, are the ones that mean the most to us.

Sometimes we need step back and look at the bigger picture as opposed to the tiny details.

Sometimes all we need in this life is someone to reassure us that they can love us for who we are as opposed to who we try to be.

Sometimes I wish that life can be this easy. But it never is.

Just know that I'll always be here to try to make your sometimes a reality...

Happy One Year Anniversary Blogger!

November 2, 2009 marked the one year anniversary of my blog and I must say that so many things has happened over the course of that year.

I experienced so much pain, heartache, disappointment, happiness, and love and everything else in between that really changed the way I looked at life and what it had to offer.

I've grown so much over the course of the year and looking back at my old posts made me realize all the emotions and experiences that  I've gone through to put myself where I am today.

It wasn't as smooth of year as I would have liked, but I am grateful for everything that has happened, good and bad, because I know it just helped me become a much stronger person and individual.

Now at this present time, I don't know what the future will hold for me or what will come. But whatever happens, I hope that I can use everything that I have learned from the past to make the present that much better.

Happy One Year Anniversary Blogger & thanks for all the memories...

=)

"I'm A Mann Now!!!"

March 31st, 2009 marked an exciting day for me because after a few days of uncertainty, I've just learned that I was hired to be a part of the Mann Theaters family!

I've always wanted to blog about my first job but I haven't been able to blog about it until now.

There are really no words that can express my gratitude towards Mann Theaters and their management for allowing me to show what I can offer in this working economy and to also give me a new perspective through the eyes of a working class citizen.

This wouldn't have been possible without the support of God, my family, and my Ate Cheryl who took it upon herself to make sure that my application was given serious consideration.

I really hope this new found responsibility gives me more opportunities to become a better person, individual and also better mann...

Less Is More...

It’s funny how life works when it comes to relationships.

Whenever you openly search for it, you never seem to find exactly what you’re looking for.

You search and you search and the more you try, the harder it seems to find that person.

You become tired, confused, angry, upset and just unsure whether you will get your chance at happiness one day.

But when you let all your inhibitions, your doubts and your uncertainties go, things become so much easier that you wonder why you even bothered trying so hard.

In a world that often asks us to do our best and to constantly keep pushing ourselves, love is the complete and total opposite.

It asks us to be patient and understanding, and to release our emotions in such a way that we are stripped from all the negativity in our lives.

It is only by doing so that allows us to see clearly, and to realize that sometimes when it comes to love, less is more…
